SMS Consent & Opt-In
Deep Disco LLC
Last Updated: April 2026
This page documents how Deep Disco collects explicit SMS opt-in consent from end users before sending any automated or AI-generated text messages.
1. How Consent Is Collected
When a user is invited to begin a discovery or intake session, they may receive an email presenting three response options: a scheduled voice call, a web form, or SMS text messaging. Selecting "Text Opt In" constitutes an explicit, affirmative opt-in to receive automated and AI-generated text messages related to their current requested service or opportunity, including discovery, intake, scheduling, follow-up questions, reminders, status updates, and communications reasonably necessary to help complete that matter.
The opt-in disclosure is displayed directly beneath the call-to-action buttons in the email, clearly visible before any selection is made. No pre-checked boxes or hidden defaults are used — consent requires a deliberate click.
If the user is contacted by SMS first, Deep Disco sends an initial opt-in request and does not continue the SMS conversation unless the user replies YES.
Choosing "Schedule a Call" or completing the web form does not result in SMS messages being sent. SMS messaging proceeds only after the user selects "Text Opt In" in the email flow or replies YES to the SMS opt-in request.
2. Consent Email Example
The screenshot below shows a multi-industry example email a user receives, including the opt-in disclosure visible beneath the "Text Opt In" button before any selection is made.
3. Opt-In Confirmation Example
After the user selects "Text Opt In," they are taken to a Deep Disco-hosted confirmation page that confirms the opt-in and explains that they will receive a text shortly, or prompts them to provide a mobile number if one is not already on file.
4. Opt-In Disclosure Text
The following disclosure appears in every invitation email beneath the call-to-action buttons, before the user makes any selection:
5. Message Types
Once a user opts in via "Text Opt In" or by replying YES to an SMS opt-in request, they may receive:
- Discovery or intake interview questions sent via SMS
- Real estate buyer or seller intake and transaction-related follow-up
- Staffing candidate intake, employer job order intake, interview scheduling, availability follow-up, and placement-process follow-up
- Scheduling confirmations, reminders, and follow-up questions
- Status updates and communications reasonably necessary to complete the active matter
All messages are transactional and service-related. No marketing messages, purchased-list outreach, third-party lead generation, affiliate marketing, or unrelated recruiting broadcasts are sent through this opt-in flow.
6. Opt-Out Instructions
Users can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from further messages. After opting out, no additional messages will be sent. Users can reply HELP for assistance or contact information.
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. No Purchase Required
Consent to receive SMS text messages is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services. Users may decline and still complete an intake session via the web form or scheduled voice call.
8. Privacy & Data
Phone numbers and message content are used solely to conduct the intake or discovery session. Deep Disco does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile messaging opt-in data will not be shared with any third parties except telecommunications providers and carriers solely for the purpose of delivering messages.
